Clemency Christopherson

Clemency has over 15 years’ experience in PR and Communications. In 2003 she was appointed as Communications Manager for a 10,000 strong membership organisation SCI that specialised in bringing scientific and technical research to the public domain. In 2007 Clemency joined the RIBA as Awards Manager. Her time there sparked a keen interest in architecture, design and the built environment. Delivering both UK and International awards programmes, including the RIBA Stirling Prize and the Royal Gold Medal, her focus was both promoting the architects as well as the architecture.  In 6 years she visited over 300 projects, worked with many of the industry’s leading architects and in 2015 was invited to be a member of the Steering Committee for the Mies van der Rohe Prize.

Since leaving the RIBA, Clemency has worked for two established London practices where she developed a strong knowledge of the architectural process – concept, design, planning and construction, as well as competitions and procurement. Clemency joined Belford Communications as an Account Manager in Spring 2016.
