Paul Bavister, Associate Director at Flanagan Lawrence, will give the inaugural lecture (15 January 2015) in the Bartlett School’s ‘Designing for Sound ‘ lecture series.

‘Designing for Sound’ focuses on the synthesis of sound and architecture, from the point of propagation to the point of reception. The lectures will bring together architects, acousticians, instrument makers, auditory neuroscientists, musicians and composers to discuss and demonstrate the complex relationship we have with sound and the design-led processes required to frame and channel it through physical means.
