What we do
Belford provides services in press & marketing support, business development services and financial advisory. We track key sector issues and monitor new legislation, supporting our clients and enabling them to communicate more effectively with their relevant audiences.
We craft press releases, advise on website development and marketing collateral, assist with award submissions, co-ordinate events, secure speaking opportunities at leading international conferences and steer strategic social media campaigns.
Robert Torday and Paul Stelmaszczyk have wide-ranging in-house and consultancy experience of the sector and both have developed and implemented extensive UK and international programmes to communicate projects and brands of some of the world’s leading design firms, professional services companies and property developers.
We also provide a range of specialist services to clients operating in the hospitality and leisure sectors, including developers, operators and designers of hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars and associated retail. Our collective experience includes work with Andaz Liverpool Street, German Gymnasium and Ham Yard Hotel (London), Mandarin Oriental and Park Hyatt hotels (Doha), Rüya restaurant and bar (Dubai) and Hesperia (Barcelona). Our hospitality and leisure team is headed by Richard Green, a former travel writer for publications including the Sunday Times, Telegraph, Express and Mail. Richard has been working in the sector for more than two decades.

How we work
All accounts are bespoke, with each campaign organised according to a client’s specific needs, business objectives and budget.
Belford uses a media monitoring platform to accurately track media coverage that we have generated.
There are no hard and fast rules - some accounts are structured around monthly retainers, others are one-off project promotions.
It’s a collaborative process. We touch base with all our clients regularly and file monthly reports.
